About Schawn

Big dreams…I want every woman to know how loved they are and who loves them the most, Jesus!

I lead women’s retreats and workshops on topics including joy, grace, how-to-study-the-Bible and parenting. I hope these moments with others create connection and encourage women in their walk with the Lord.

Long before speaking, I graduated from Concordia University with a BA in Secondary Education with a focus on English and communications. I married Chad and moved to Texas to teach English to high schoolers. Y’all, let me tell you, it was super fun! Suddenly, life changed! We moved to Minnesota and, ya hey der, I became a mom. Being a mom was even more fun than teaching, so I embraced a new season.

Now, all of my kids have moved out and I’m back to living my dreams…which really means, connecting with you. Do you know you are loved?

Women's Ministry

I write devotions and Bible studies and continue to speak for women's ministry events.

I love being a wife to Chad, who serves as one of the pastors at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Greenville, WI. I help out at my church in many ways, including leading preschool large group for Sunday School and teaching marriage class with my husband.

Because of the fun, talented, servant-hearted ladies at my church, it is a joy to lead the women's ministry team. We create events and opportunities for women to connect with God and each other.
